Recent Awards for Outstanding Entry-Level Students
We are very pleased to announce that two of our new lab members: Shahin Khobahi and Aria Ameri have recently received distinguished awards from College of Engineering.
Shahin wins the $5,000 Wexler Award for 2016-2017. This is a very prestigious award, only given to the top few incoming students in department of ECE and CS. Peter Wexler, a UIC successful alumnus and College of Engineering Advisory Board member that funded the award, closely follows the success of the award recipients.
Also, Aria receives the $5,000 College of Engineering Award (2016-2017) for outstanding incoming students to the ECE PhD program at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
